This may look like a scream, but it's really a big laugh. Maddie just loves reading books! She thinks it's great that she can get Daddy and Uncle Davey to actually kiss the puppy dogs on the page. Oh the things you do to make them happy!

Poor little Maddie. She was so excited to run into Auntie's room and say BOO!, she tripped and fell smack on an open dresser drawer. Dad was pretty freaked out!

Business From Home

I'm thinking about looking for cheap junk to sell at a huge markup. Anyone out there with any great ways to make a ton on e-bay? You hear the stories, but I just haven't come across any great ideal lately...

Halloween is just around the corner...

Maddie was trying on her Halloween costume this evening. Isn't she CUTE!!! We told her to do TA-DA! This is Maddie's first Halloween and boy isn't this one going to get lots of candy? We did a little pre-trial run today (I know, we are a bit early) because we were afraid it might not fit by the end of October.... I guess that's just the way things go when you get a Deal off of E-Bay! You win some, you loose some, but I have a feeling that the offspring of Apu will make it work.

Cucumber is better than Candy Bar

Our little Maddie just couldn't wait to chow down on this big ole' cucumber! We figured cucumbers are better than candy bars, and I think studies on all fronts would support this. Hey- what the heck, she is the cutest little thing. As you can see from the picture she doesn't always have the best aim with her food, but she at least keeps most of it off the floor.

Start'em Out Young

Well, Mommie got a bit ahead of herself on this one..... My little girl got her toe nails painted for the first time. I guess she isn't a baby anymore. As you can see from the first two toes, she is trying to compete with Pete Rose for sliding prowess. I've been working on getting her to lift up her toes so she can get better distance. Maddie, is just like her Grandma Karen and never wants to wear shoes. She'll probably have a hard time getting her husband to rub her feet too! :-)

Emma's Big Soccer Day

Well, It was Emma Roonie's Big Soccer day today! This was her second big game, and they won! (Even though they don't keep score, officially that is) She got her first goal today. I think she did so well today because she started the game with some Karate Style head stands. As you can see from the pictures Jacke Chan might have some competiiton pretty soon. We had the whole fam out for cheering, except for Maddie who wasn't feeling well and Carla who was at home being the nurse. :-) Uncle Scott is the coach and he really knows how to fire up the team! Go BLACK HAWKS!

Maddie is so excited about our new neighbors. Gage and Taylor. They have been going on lots of adventures together. Maddie now has a built in best friend and they even have a doggie so we don't have to get one.......

Vacation to Solvang - Riding Bikes

We took a little family weekend getaway to Pismo Beach for Uncle Carl's Birthday. We stopped off in Solvang on the way home to spend an afternoon. We all had a good time and Maddie liked riding the BIG Bike allot!!! It sure was hard trying to find something to draft behind on this bohemoth. It was a good little trip.

Here is our little maddie girls at 15 months. She sure has gotten big. She has Uncle Carl's hair and Mommies Pretty smile and Daddy's energy!

grandma is moving

Well, Carla's parents moved up the street this weekend.
Sure are looking forward to not driving to Orange County anymore.
I hope things go well with the pre-school and all that is ahead.
If only we could get my parents out!!! Now that would be perfect.
