Maddie's Little Playmate

Buddy is such a good dog! Poor guy sat there and let Maddie use him as a sticker book. He's bought us a little bit of time to provide Maddie with a real playmate!

Mission Beach

We headed out to beautiful Mission Beach in San Diego last Sunday. We just wanted to get away and have some fun with our little girl. Maddie was so excited to ride the carousel and boat ride. Then we dinked around in the sand and on the playground. It was one of those days that makes you say, "Wow, God is good".

Too Little For Tilt-A-Wheel!

Maddie is a little daredevil, but this ride was too scary for her! You can't tell by the pictures, but it was spinning fast. Maddie made it very clear when she got off the ride that she did not like it one bit! Everytime we walked by it after that she would say, "Bye-Bye".

Just a typical November day in California

Isn't it a wonderful thing living in a place where the sun is almost always shining? (Not to rub it in to our Mid-Western loved ones!) I just don't know what we would do if we didn't have such awesome weather. Thank you Lord!

Just Like My Dad

Our little Mads is a wild sleeper just like her Dad. At least at this age "bed-head" is cute!

Knock,Knock,Knock...Trick-or-Treat

I was so amazed that Maddie wasn't scared to go up to peoples houses on Halloween. She even went right up to the scary ones. If she didn't like something she would just tell it "Bye-Bye". She knocked on the doors herself and even said "trick-or-treat when the people opened the door! (okay it was really "ta-da-teet", but either way it was cute!)

Maddie's 1st Halloween Experience

This year was Maddie's first time getting all dressed up and doing the halloween thing. Isn't she the cutest Minnie Mouse ever! (not that we're partial) She went to a harvest festival with her pals Rachel and Wesley on the 29th. Then she went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood with her best buddy Taylor on Halloween. Maddie just couldn't believe that everyone wanted to give her candy! -P.S. For any of you wondering...Yes that is Emma's famous pumpkin sweatshirt that little Taylor is wearing! At the last minute she refused to wear her Wonder Women costume, so I offered it up on strictly a loan basis.

Fun around the House

Here is a typical day in the life of Maddie. We build forts, play dress up, ride roller coasters in the house and bounce on the bed with Taylor. Most of all, we make a mess!
